Last weekend was the last round of the RugRacers series. Going into the weekend Ashley Wiffen (Awesomatix/6k Racing) had the points lead in the championship with only one other competitor able to challenge Ash for the title. After four intense rounds of FTD qualifying, Ash took pole position by a close margin and this was enough to win the championship what ever the finals outcome was, so Ash could just enjoy some close racing in the finals, but it was fellow team mate Shaun Batt (Awesomatix/6k Racing) who would take the overall win and move him into 3rd overall in the championship.
